Negative Features : Customer relationships will go out the window with the introduction of online shopping, in times gone bye, we made everyone contact us through a simple site survey form on our old web.  It asked questions about site, sunlight, soil, moisture, pH and the intent for the space to be sown.

We would on reply by email with our recommendation and trade details. From such contact, we manage all customers in all sectors over the years to establishment of the flora. Often an email would arrive, just with photo of annuals and a thank you, to which we would reply, “they not the wildflowers, annuals don’t come back, it’s the third year before you see real wildflowers” send all start to finish photos in two years for your guarantee.

The problem is, few did, cos they grew, Yes many failed to grow wildflowers, but not with our mixtures, cos those that reported problems got solutions and our guarantee to grow was only ever issued once since we introduced it many years ago, where after three failure attempts, we went out and sowed the site for the customer.

On arrival we discovered the soil had been polluted and poisoned by a ‘diesel spillage’ during construction or new access. There was a very thin layer of sludge covered over by a scattering of soil, hence nothing grew. As you see, we have ‘history’ and our ‘Herstory’ is about flora and our fight to save it and get it the reputation it deserves.
