Hort’Estate

Hort’ Estate, a pun on Fourth Estate (Wiki)  is where we write political comment and act as as the ‘unofficial political wing of wildflowers’..

The main reason we love Nature is because of it’s resilience, even after the Chernobyl disaster, Nature thrived in the radioactive zone. It clearly shows us all how a prevailing view held by many fails to realise that nature is resilient

Hort’Estate will give our view of current matters involving Environment with effect to Nature. We will always point out when policy that’s supposed to benefit Nature, only ends up improving environment, mainly cos Gov’ don’t know the difference.
Nature is ‘what lives’, Environment is ‘where we live’,

Chernobyl clearly shows that nature and enviro’ are entirely different. Yet, most policy always favours Environment, and NATURE is in rapid decline.

In this section, we also feature some nice photos of an interest this firm has in heritage conservation, not just plants. Our aim to preserve and protect Ireland’s horticultural heritage is well established, we attend trade shows to make gardeners aware of the history, beauty and educational value of yesterdays horticultural bygones.

Sandro Cafolla since 1974 has been a forcefull force for nature, in this the Age of Nature.

“As an Anti-nuke organiser, I am proud that we won the Carnsore Point battle, against nuclear and then Won against Uranium mining in Ireland, the real danger of nuclear energy.

RTE even have footage of me at 18 years old at the Carnsore festival. The BBC has archived video of Sandro working for peace in Belfast at the A Centre and ‘Just Books’. In 1992-94, I am proudest to have argued for and won funding for genetic resources, seed savers and much more. At my age I can say what i like, sure I am a ScaryCrow after all”.
