About Our Exports

This web offers online shopping export to within the E.U. only and not beyond.

Northern Ireland : We have always exported to Northern Ireland and have geno-types in our seed crops harvested from Ulster.
Bespoke seed mixtures for clients in Northern Ireland such as Greenmount Agricultural College can be seen growing en-situ and throughout the UK as we supply Germinal Seeds (Formally Coburns) since 1996. who catere to specific site requirements in the North. Germinal Seeds sell ours and other brands, so please always ask for our seed.

In the UK some seed sellers, get their hands on our mixtures, or say they do!!!! We don’t supply direct, those who say they sell our seed directly copied us in name and/or seed mixtures. Dr Mathew Jebb Director on National Botanic Gardens said “we were victims of our own success”.

In Europe : Our Seed and by-products include specialised seed blends for green roofs, soil stabilisation, and remediation of toxic soils, featuring deep-rooted and nitrogen-fixing species. Our range includes suitable species which can be found from Estonia all the way to Spain, but most products are only intended for Urban use, as our seed abroad are not intended for the wild countryside or ecosystems.

If outside the EU or UK please contact us

Globally :  Design By Nature supplies political, economic and nature based services to those fighting to directly save plant species from extinction. In the 1990’s, early twenties, on the global stage our involvement in plant band seed supply with a hint of landscape design for the now famous Irish Hunger Memorial Garden in Battery Park, Batter City, New York was the culmination of a tour of USA to notify their government officials in agriculture and native growers of issues with import/ export on native and non natives. The USA has come along way since then.. Read More about the global seed industry and standards we help spread and who has achieved them.

EXPORT outside of EU requires expensive phytosanitary certification, which we offer but only on large trade orders.

Specialist seed packets of single Irish Species such as Bluebell, Primrose, Rock Samphire (Crithmum maritimum), Myrtle, Herbs, and Botanicals of native Irish origin can be grown on contract and thus avoid their destruction by harvesting in the wild as is currently practiced..
