Quality Assurance System – non-statutory audit

The author of this document (Product Statement & Declaration ) is at the time of writing (May 2025) an exempt person (until 31 December 2025) relating to the assurance of sustainability reporting from the requirement to have relevant experience of non-statutory audit and assessment of product type. all be it, i may well be the the most qualified to do so, and as were direct action driven, I did.

Being a micro SME, this business is voluntarily offering the information without the use of a statutory auditor, as we simply cannot afford to employ an independent Statutory Auditor for our Quality Assurance System. We refer to Accounting Directive (2013/34/EU) article 30. Audit Directive (2006/43/EC) —Article 34 – Independent Assurance Services Providers.
“The Department proposes to conduct a specific consultation on this matter in 2024” (to-date Oct 2025, we were never consulted)
