Technically our products would be called: ‘Pre’- pre-basic seeds of 1st and 2nd generation wild origin. ‘Pre’ denoting , before ‘pre-basic’. Alas, there is confusion. So Landraces is the Name being applied in 2026 to wildflowers to identify them from FPG Farm produced Grass Seed as FPG and thus FPF (flora) are illegal to produce and sell in Ireland, as our Biodiversity actions are ahead of the DAFM’s understanding of ecology. (FPG = Farm produced grass) we ignore this and provide our our Label under the EU policy ruling that Biodiversity business’s such as ours one is, must operate outside the law to survive outdated laws if to protect species. we do however abide by Conservation mixtures and preservation mixture rules where they apply such as with Clovers and trefoils, ours our native, preservation mixtures are not

So as the EU proposes Landraces, we have adopted it
